Installation Services
Our experienced technicians install generators, solar systems, inverters and storage with strict attention to safety, quality and standards compliance, then test and commission everything before handover.
We plan each installation carefully, coordinate with your team on access and timing, and keep the work area safe and tidy. When we finish, we walk you through the system and explain how to operate and monitor it.

What you get
- Certified, experienced technicians
- Safety and standards compliance
- Testing and commissioning
- Clean, on-schedule delivery
Professional, safe and standards-compliant installation
Even excellent equipment fails when installed badly. Our installation service puts experienced technicians on site to mount, wire, test and commission solar systems, battery storage, inverters and generators with careful attention to safety and quality. We work to the approved design, follow manufacturer instructions and applicable electrical codes, and communicate clearly with you throughout.
Before work begins we confirm access, safety arrangements, materials, delivery dates and any permits or utility approvals. A clear programme avoids surprises and keeps disruption to a minimum, whether the site is a family home, an occupied office or a busy industrial plant.
The installation process, step by step
- Site preparation: verify measurements, structure, cable routes and safe working areas.
- Mounting: install roof or ground structures with correct fixings, waterproofing and wind-load considerations.
- Electrical works: run and terminate DC and AC cabling, install combiner boxes, breakers, isolators, surge protection and earthing.
- Equipment installation: fit inverters, batteries, chargers, transfer switches and generators in ventilated, accessible locations.
- Testing: check polarity, open-circuit voltage, insulation resistance, earth continuity and protection settings.
- Commissioning and handover: configure monitoring, demonstrate operation and provide documentation.
Safety on site
Working at height, handling live circuits and moving heavy batteries each carry risk. Our crews use appropriate personal protective equipment, lock-out procedures and fall protection, and they isolate supplies before connecting. Installation of battery storage also considers ventilation, spacing, fire safety and safe access for future servicing.
Retrofits and system expansions
We also install batteries on existing solar systems, add panels to existing arrays, replace inverters and integrate generators into current electrical boards. Retrofits require careful checks of switchboard capacity, existing protection, inverter compatibility and warranty conditions. Our team assesses these before quoting. Read how to integrate solar and storage into an existing system.
Planning, scheduling and communication
Good installation depends on planning. Before mobilising, we confirm the bill of materials, check delivery dates, assign a team lead and agree working hours, access routes and safety arrangements with you. During the works we report progress, flag any unexpected findings and request decisions promptly so the programme does not stall. After commissioning, a site walk-through shows you where isolators, batteries and monitoring equipment are located and how to shut the system down safely.
Quality checks before handover
Our quality checklist covers torque on terminals, cable routing and labelling, waterproofing of roof penetrations, earthing continuity, inverter settings, battery configuration and monitoring connectivity. Photographs and test values are recorded so there is evidence of what was installed. This attention to detail reduces early failures and makes future servicing faster.
Working on occupied homes and live commercial sites
Installing around people and operations requires planning. We schedule noisy or disruptive tasks for convenient times, protect floors and equipment, keep walkways clear and coordinate shutdowns in advance. Where power interruptions are unavoidable, we agree a window with you and prepare temporary supply arrangements, such as a generator, when continuity is critical.
After installation support
If something does not behave as expected after handover, contact us. We investigate settings, wiring and equipment performance and correct installation-related issues under the terms of your contract.
Permits, approvals and inspections
Many regions require electrical permits, building approvals or utility consent before connecting solar and storage. We list the documents typically needed, help you prepare technical information and coordinate inspections, so energisation is not delayed after construction finishes.
Documentation you can rely on
At handover you receive equipment details, settings, diagrams, test records, warranty information and basic operating instructions. Good records speed up future maintenance, insurance claims and upgrades. Combine installation with our maintenance plans to protect your investment, or request an installation quote.
